Telex Messages are legal documents unlike emails.  Both sender and recipient are formally identified because they have to be subscribers to the Telex Network.  Neither party can deny the transmission; the sender can’t claim that they didn’t send the Telex Message, nor can the recipient claim that they didn’t receive it; the messages can’t be faked.  Banking and Financial Systems use Telex Messages for trades and confirmations.  Ocean going ships are required to have Telex Machines, as a safety requirement.
