Fax OCR.

Optical Character Recognition (OCR) can also be developed to read the cover page of the inbound fax and based on developed logic, route the document internally. Also the actual contents of the fax can be read by the system and the values passed back in a data file for integration with internal applications. This will eliminate keying errors, speed up processing time, and increase workflow processes downstream.

Fax Barcode.
Documents that contain a bar code can be routed based on bar code information. The actual fax file name can contain the bar code information with a date and time stamp. This allows for system directed storage in the customer current records.
